Windows Client Unable to Connect to Pi Server

Forums

My VirtualHere Client, which has previously worked with no issues, has stopped connecting to my Raspberry Pi v3. The autofind attempts to connect to the server, but repeatedly fails, with the System Messages just repeating:

INFO :Could not connect to raspberrypi.local.:7575

over and over again. I've attempted to manually put the Pi's IP address in but I get the same error with the IP address in place of "raspberrypi.local".

Possible to install alongside Kodi/LibreELEC on Raspberry Pi 3?

As in the subject. Is there a way?
I first wanted to use over Steam Link but that seems not to work for my use condition so the other option for me could be this one.

I have some experience with Linux and shell but not that much more than following guides and moving files around maybe ^^

steam client continually opening even if set as service

Forums

Okay, so ive been trying everything under the sun over the course of several weeks in order to get VH running completely in the back ground.

I play remotely from a shield tv using steam, and if i return to my pc after the session - a virtual here icon is running in my tray. If i set it to run as a service, the service goes in, I can see it running in services.msc, and best i can tell, the app no longer appears in the tray until I restart my pc. At which point, the tray icon starts appearing again.

How do i get this to persist?

this is in the vdf in steam

Continus Disconnects

Forums

I have started to use virtual here as instructed by support at shadowbox as there forwarding of joystick and throttle has been updated and is not working any more for me.

After some problem getting the firewall to work, i have a connection from the shadow box and can forward my joystick and throttle and it works for about a minuter or 2 and then the client disconnects and then connects again after a few seconds. And have lost all my usb connections.

When checking the connection with shadows overlay there is not dropped packages and no strange peeks in network ping time.

Wireless USB mouse receiver issues

Forums

Hello all,

I managed to get VirtualHere setup on my MacBook running Mac OS X 10.15.3 (server) and my rented cloud PC running Windows 10 (client) after forwarding the required port on my router.

On the client machine I can see the USB server running on my Mac and have enabled the USB mouse receiver however Windows is giving me a driver error and I don't understand why..

Has anyone experienced a problem like this?

Thanks :-)
