Licensing questions

Forums

Hello,

I am considering purchasing this product. However, I have a few questions.

First, I saw in an older thread that there are no floating licenses available. Is this still the case?

Second, I understand this product is your main source of income, but I as a non-commercial user:

Do I have to buy a license for each platform (Windows, Linux, Android) or can I move one license to the other? (1 device at a time)

Thanks

Device Disappears when try to use

Forums

I'm trialing this - and having some problems
I've downloaded and installed the virtualHere server onto a ASUS SAN using the builtin downloading
I'm using the VirtualHere client (vhui64.exe ) file version 5.0.7.0 on Windows 10
I could not autodiscover so I created a entry and that worked fine

I have used a Wireless keyboard/mouse dongle and when I click connect it becomes active on my client so that is working

Saved password - empty submition

Forums

Hello Michael.

In my auth script I use a log file in order to keep track of the events happening on the server. I have noticed that when I try to connect to a device that I have previousely saved the password, the first attempt of the client is rejected, because it passes an empty password to the server. It automatically retries to connect, and this time it passes the saved password so the authorization finishes successfully. Maybe this is something that needs to be checked in the client code.

No more work since Windows 10 Pro rev2004

Forums

Hi,

Since my update to Win10 Pro rev2004, the virtual here client is no more working.

As soon as I start the software, my computer hangs completly. (Black screen, and remote access is impossible).

I don't know how to get logs since the client doesn't start.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks you

Raspberry PI and Server Disconnect Time Outs

Forums

I have the server setup on a Pi Zero W connecting to a Windows 10 Client. I am testing out my configuration to run a USB connected RGB lighting devices (Corsair LT-100 for now while I am testing). I am getting what looks like server drop outs / timeouts in the Windows client. What should I collect on the server side so I can identify what is causing the drops? I will buy a license because I have more than one device I want to use with the service, but if it continues to disconnect, it won't be very useful.

Thanks

Xbox One Controller Keeps Disconnecting/Reconnecting

Forums

As the title says, I've used the wireless adapter in the past and that's usually a fairly smooth experience although it'll sometimes randomly disconnect and then reconnect. However, I'm currently using the same Xbox one controller with the updated firmware but have now plugged it in directly via the USB port on the back of my NVIDIA shield. If I click use the device, it uses it for a few seconds and then the controller disappears and then reappears. If I click auto-use, it's just a never ending cycle of disconnecting and reconnecting and I can't do anything there.
