Support for VirtualHere hardware and software

Working on Win10, but not working on Win10PRO

Forums

I have been testing the virtualhere software because I could use to program microcontrollers distributed from a central computer with only a rpi on battery.
The software working fine when the client is on a Computer with Windows 10 home edition. But the software is not working when de client is on a Computer with Windows 10 Profesional edition. All the programs (arduino IDE, platformIO, MobaXterm, Coolterm ) say me that the port access is denied.
Has anyone else had this issue?
is there any solution?

Thank you

Client access takes up to ten minutes

Forums

Hi All,

we use a Server with 5 different Dongles. The clients discover the server correct witout any doubts.
When we now want to connect a dongle to a client (Use this device) it takes 5-10 minutes until the dongle is available on the client.
It takes this time too, until the other clients recognise that this dongle is already in use.
Is this behavior normal? Because it's sometimes quite annoying to wait this time.
Does anyone has any idea what we can check?

Regards
Stefan

ADB not seeing android device on VHclient

Forums

<p>Hello,
</p>
<p>I am trying to connect my android device over the network to a Jenkins build machine. So I installed a server on my Windows 10 and client on my CentOS 6.5 (Jenkins), when I use ./vhclientx86_64 -t LIST it shows my windows hub and the devices, for the android device is says ( In-use by you) but when I try to list the adb devices the list is empty. I tried with restarting the adb server, also tried restarting the client and the server.

ilok "Not Authorized"

Forums

Hi Michael,

I just found your product and it looks fantastic.
I am running the OS X server on mojave, and connecting with a Catalina (I know - not fully supported) machine. I got it working for my other USB devices, but somehow not for the ilok, which is what I'm after.
Is there something I can do to get the ilok working?
I get the error "You are not authorized to access this device" in a popup "VirtualHere Client" window.
I'm happy to buy the license if I can be sure this will work.

Thank you!

Install VirtualHere-Service on Windows client with GPO scripts

Forums

<p>Currently, installing VirtualHere with Windows GPO scripts fails, because of UI messages being shown (or at least they try to).<br />
Is there any command line switch to supress these messages?
</p>
<p>My script currently looks as follows:
</p>
<p>SET setuppath=%~dp0<br />
xcopy %setuppath%vhui.ini C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming /d /Y<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -u<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -y<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -d

Cannot connect to server or see licence

Forums

Hi,

I'm a user of Virtualhere through OpenTPCast and have an Oculus Rift. It's worked just fine for a long time, but now, 8 months since I last used it, I'm ready to play some VR again.

Only, Virtualhere doesn't find the device. Curious if I had to enter my licence again, I checked the "Licence" setting, where I got this error:
"You are not currently connected to any servers. License information will appear here when this client is connected to a server."

Cloudhub on raspberry pi 4B
starts up, but seems to hang after
wlan0: link is not ready
wlan0: link becomes ready

Also can't seem to activate console. Keyboard is seen

Can run normal raspberry pi on this device and wifi works, so can discount hardware issue.

any thoughts anyone?
