Support for VirtualHere hardware and software

ilok "Not Authorized"

Forums

Hi Michael,

I just found your product and it looks fantastic.
I am running the OS X server on mojave, and connecting with a Catalina (I know - not fully supported) machine. I got it working for my other USB devices, but somehow not for the ilok, which is what I'm after.
Is there something I can do to get the ilok working?
I get the error "You are not authorized to access this device" in a popup "VirtualHere Client" window.
I'm happy to buy the license if I can be sure this will work.

Thank you!

Install VirtualHere-Service on Windows client with GPO scripts

Forums

<p>Currently, installing VirtualHere with Windows GPO scripts fails, because of UI messages being shown (or at least they try to).<br />
Is there any command line switch to supress these messages?

<p>My script currently looks as follows:
</p>
<p>SET setuppath=%~dp0<br />
xcopy %setuppath%vhui.ini C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming /d /Y<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -u<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -y<br />
start %setuppath%vhui64.exe -d

Cannot connect to server or see licence

Forums

Hi,

I'm a user of Virtualhere through OpenTPCast and have an Oculus Rift. It's worked just fine for a long time, but now, 8 months since I last used it, I'm ready to play some VR again.

Only, Virtualhere doesn't find the device. Curious if I had to enter my licence again, I checked the "Licence" setting, where I got this error:
"You are not currently connected to any servers. License information will appear here when this client is connected to a server."

Cloudhub on raspberry pi 4B - wifi doesn't start

Forums

Cloudhub on raspberry pi 4B
starts up, but seems to hang after
wlan0: link is not ready
wlan0: link becomes ready

Also can't seem to activate console. Keyboard is seen

Can run normal raspberry pi on this device and wifi works, so can discount hardware issue.

any thoughts anyone?

thanks

Require Password Always

Forums

This may be a feature request, but is there a way to require users to always enter a password when they borrow a USB device from a hub? Currently, users have the option of saving a password, or not being asked for one if they used the device "recently". It would really benefit my use-case to have an option (ideally on the server-side) to require a password for all borrow attempts, as users can use multiple different passwords depending on the exact work they are engaged in.

Thanks,
Zac.

VirtualHere 4.9.8 is not working in MacOS Mojave 10.14.2

Forums

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade VirtualHere from 4.7.0 to 4.9.8 in MacOS 10.14.2. I got a security warning when I opened 4.9.8 client, as not trusted by Apple and I have allowed the app in System Preferences -> Privacy and Security and Client

When our application try to contact VirtualHere client, it throws popup "Virtual Here Client Devices could not be loaded. Please try rebooting your machine and opening VirtualHere Client again."

Do anyone face this issue ?

Please help if we have any fix available.

Thanks,
Rangaraj

Failed Checksum for Version 4.9.8 Checksums

Forums

Hello,

I am downloading the latest client for windows. I downloaded vhui64.exe and the SHA1SUM checksum file from the client download page. I ran a sha1sum check and have the checksum "22b9eceaf24493644e1fec14dc93b3308c0f9869" whereas the SHA1SUM file has "22b9eceaf24493644e1fec14dc93b3308c0f9869". Is the checksum file out of date? I redownloaded the file a couple times to make sure it wasn't download corruption. (I also checked the linux vhclientx86_64 and the check against the SHA1SUM file failed too.) Can you check this out?

Thanks!
