List of Reliable NAS

Forums

All,

We're having some real issues with our DS216se - it is currently unreliable as a VH server (irregular drop-outs). FYI We're hanging 3 x 20 port powered hubs off it, with only 15 dongles currently connected and it is the only package installed

I've requested assistance from Synology but aren't holding my breathe that I'll get an answer or update solution any time soon. I feel the problem is bigger than just the USB host controller - I have issues whereby the NAS won't reboot after a VH drop-out...

Trial notifications

Forums

Hi, I've been using VirtualHere to share a multifunction printer since Brother doesn't provide open source scanner drivers. The problem I'm having is that a new notification opens on the client computer when it wakes up from sleeping, this results in dozens of notifications, only one of which can be closed at a time, and there is no indication which it is (http://i.imgur.com/5rckFU7.png). Would it be possible to limit the client to one trial notification at a time?

Steam Link

Forums

Hi,

I have recently got a steam link and I am trying to use an xbox one controller however the steam link isn't showing up on virtualhere client.

Has the functionality been removed now that steam are selling the client or should this still work?

Mouse stuttering in Windows 10

Forums

I have two USB-Servers running at home. One Raspberry Pi B+ in my homeoffice and one banana pi M2 in the living room.
My Client (Windows 10 64bit Machine) connects to both servers, so that i can use the same pc in the Living romm and in my homeoffice.

Since yesterday my mouse connected to the banana pi M2 has a massive lag and stutters while moving.
Connecting the same mouse to the raspberry Pi B+, everything is running smooth.

For the banana pi m2 i'm using the 'VirtualHere USB Server Optimized for Pi2/Pi3' running on armbian.
