Hi,
I've downloaded a trial version for Synology. Installed it and tried both over LAN and internet (connected my laptop over hotspot) and it work great.
Bought a full license and it all worked great in the office.
Turned my laptop off, got home and tried to use it, Client shows no Hubs, license says "You are not currently connected to any servers. License information will appear here when this client is connected to a server".
Synology Drive Clined is connected and running.
Please advise on how to get it up and running.
Thank you.
After plugging my USB drive into the back of my Nvidia Shield Pro and formatting it, I ran the VH server software and then ran the client software on my Windows 10 PC. The first thing Windows tells me is that I need to format the USB drive in order to use it. I get this message in spite of just having formatted it using the Shield. At any rate, the client software recognizes the server and I copy files to the USB drive. So far so good. But then I'd go back to the Shield and run the X-Plore file explorer and there is no sign of the USB drive.
Hello, I'm Togamitsu, from Japan.
We have a PC (Windows 10) connected to a Wi-Fi router and a RaspberryPi.
The RaspberryPi has a USB printer connected to it.
The PC and the USB printer are connected and recognized via VirtualHere.
However, when I try to print, the printer suddenly disconnects from the server as far as VirtualHereClient is concerned, and printing fails.
Do I need to change any settings to make it work?
Greetings!
I'm looking at buying a microphone headset that connects through a USB-C port. Will this register and work through virtualhere? Or will I need to get the USB-A one? Thank you for the help.
Here is the headset I'm looking at getting.

Hello!
I'm a new user of VirtualHere and I'm trying to control VirtualHere Client using the terminal on a Mac.
I've found that the VirtualHere USB Client it's controllable over a Named pipe.
Is there any existing example of how to control VH using the terminal?
Hello, I have a problem to use an iphone on a windows desktop computer that I use as a server, in which I have access to the internet but I have restricted administrator privileges for creating folders and files.
When I try to use de iphone on the client computer, the server try to download the drivers but gives an error… I think that it would be because the limited privileges in the server one. And then the iphone gives connection error in the client and cannot be used.
Hello,
I just thought I would mention that it does not seem possible to copy from the server log - even when using the "copy to clipboard" button. I've tried a few other options too - selecting text, and right click>copy, or the same and Command+C, but nothing seems to work.
Hi there!
I have VH-Server installed on a QNAP-NAS (QTS 5.x) and want to share an iLok between my
Workstation (MacPro, OS 12.2.1) and my MacBook (OS 12.2.1).
When i disconnect the iLok on my MacPro ("Stop using this device") and connect it afterwards
on my MacBook i´ll get the Message "iLok Sharing Error...".
I need to physically unplug the iLok to get it to work again.
I´m using an AMAZON Basics HUC9002V1ESL which is, according to the uhubctl-list "compatible"....
Any ideas how to get the iLok-Switching to work?
Thanks in advance,
