Mac server with iPhone connected not working

Forums

Hi,

I have seen some old posts reporting this type of problem. Not sure if it is still an issue or a newbie error.

I set up an old Macbook running MacOS 11.6.5 Big Sur a server and have and an iPhone running IOS 15.4.1 connected to it. I have tried to connect from a Mac VM and a local Windows PC without any success. All I see is "Error connecting to this device."

I have an Android phone also connected to the Mac server and can connect to it with no trouble.

Does the Mac block remote connections to an iPhone? Is there something I can do about it?

USB Huawei Modem E3372 over IP running on Raspberry PI Server

Forums

Using a Windows 10 machine as the client, when I click "Use this device", the HUAWEI dongle does not appear as a network adapter on the windows machine.

Instead it shows under "Other Devices" with a warning symbol.

Any tips on how to get this to work?

I am trying to share a PS5 game controller over from my mac running teamviewer onto my windows 10 machine upstairs.

Forums

Hi I am trying to share a PS5 game controller over from my mac running teamviewer onto my windows 10 machine upstairs.

The mac is a Macbook Pro M1 Pro running Monterey.

Everything installs fine on both machines, the device shows up in windows and I can "take control of this device"

However it doesn't work, and in the logs on the server app on the mac I get this error

Synology Diskstation DSM has no VirtualHere client。

Forums

Hello, I'm using Synology NAS. Found above is the VirtualHere suite, which is a server side and does not have a client.

I own an AX206 digital photo frame because of the use of usb cables, which limits its range of movement. At present, passenger transport uses a wireless router to install the VirtualHere server, and uses the VirtualHere client in Synology, so that my digital photo frame placement is not limited.

Hardware/License

Forums

Hi,
I have tested Virtual Here with Raspberry Pi4 as Client Hardware and Raspberry Pi Zero W
as server for a USB Modbus dongle with connected Energy Meter.
Now I want to get a License to connect 3 Meters to the server.
Now there are 2 questions:
1. Will the Pi zero be sufficient/powerful enough for 3 USB dongles?
2. I am still waiting for the Network/PoE/USB hub HAT. Can I order the License based on the Pi zero or do I need to have the final hardware? I read here, that the License sometimes depends on Network hardware.

Thanks for the support
Johannes

USB ports unusable side server (raspberry) but only by client side

Usb devices doesn't mount on my raspberry Pi 4 running Dietpi OS.
I have to reboot to see them.
At first I didn't link the problem to VirtualHere and I opened an issue on GitHub at DietPi support team, but then tried do disinstall it and everything worked as usual.
Btw I paste the link to that long post where, eventually, You can find some usefull informations about the issue.

Thanks in advance if someone could help me to solve,

Paolo
