Client not seeing printer on NAS
Hi there,
I have installed the server application on my Synology NAS213. Further a HP LaserJet P1005 is attached to it. The NAS sees the attached printer. I don't know if I should see something from the NAS.
When installing the client software om my Windows 8 laptop it does not find a printer. Adding manualy the NAS with port 7575 it still does not find a printer.
What went wrong?
Marcel

Problem with client on Ubuntu 12.04
Hi,
I try to use the client on a machine with Ubuntu 12.04 64bit installed. The client starts but when I double click on a USB device shown in the list the system immediatly block itself and the caps-lock led in the keyboard starts blinking. I try the Ubuntu 13.04+ (amd64) and the Debian Wheezly (amd64). The other version says that there are missing library.
What can I do?
Thanks

Non-GUI Linux Client
Hello Michael,
While trying the client on a Debian 7 (i386) VM I realized, that there seams to be no daemon / Non-GUI mode.
Since I would like to be able to use the Software in daemon mode on Linux:
1. Have I missed something or is it really not possible (now)?
2. Would it be possible to get a client which does run as a deamon on linux (much like the headless server for the Raspberry Pi)?
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
Dirk

Connection problem with Android Server
Hello,
I'm trying to connect a USB gamepad to an Galaxy SIII with a Cyanogenmod 11-20140617 (Android 4.4.3).
The kernel is compiled to use USB Host and actually it's working with local connected devices.
In LogCat appears this error when connect a new device:
vhusbd Error 30 creating device node at _proc_bus_usb_002_001, m
vhusbd Error 30 creating device node at _proc_bus_usb_002_001, m

ESXi Vmware 5.5 with Win7 Virtual Machine as Client from Pi (Server)
Hello,
I have a Problem with a SPR332 Chipdrive Smart Card Reader. This is physical connected to Raspberry Pi running as Server.
This works fine with a standalone Notebook running Win7 64bit as client connecting to the Pi server.
On my ESXi Vmware Server is also a Win7 64bit Installation running as VM. The drivers of the Card Reader also installed in the VM. The vhui64.exe Client also starts and the VirtualHere USB Host Controller an Hub are active in the Device Manager from Win7. The Client shows the Smart Card Reader if connected.
